This word unscrambler turns a jumble of letters into real words. Type the letters you have, up to 15, and it lists common words of 3 to 8 letters that you can build from them, longest first. Switch to Exact anagrams to see only the words that use every letter. It works for Scrabble-style racks, Wordle-style hints, crosswords and word puzzles of every kind.
For every word in the list, the tool checks whether your letters cover it, counting repeated letters correctly: a word with two L needs two L, or one L plus a blank. Capital letters and accents are ignored. Blanks can stand in for any letter, so a rack of six letters and one blank can reveal words you would not spot by eye.
The list is built from public word-frequency data and a spell-check dictionary, so it favours common words of 3 to 8 letters. It can include a few names and borrowed words, and it will miss rare words that a particular game accepts. For longer words, try the finders for 6, 7 or 8 letters.
